What is Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating)?

Hyperhidrosis causes excessive sweating, affecting palms, feet, underarms, and face, reducing quality of life through social embarrassment and daily activity interference. It leads to avoidance in social/professional settings and may cause skin infections. Treatments include antiperspirants, medications, botulinum toxin injections, iontophoresis, and surgery.

Is it painful?

Underarm sweating injections are minimally painful, with options like ice, EMLA cream, or painkillers to ease discomfort. Ultra-fine needles are used, making the process bearable. Treatments for palms and soles may hurt more. Please discuss any concerns about pain management in a consultation.

Is it safe?

Injections for hyperhidrosis are safe, with possible side effects like muscle weakness or pain at the site. Book a bulk billed consultation for personalized advice on botulinum toxin treatments.
